C&rsquo;est le quatri\u00e8me pays le plus peupl\u00e9 d&rsquo;Afrique (derri\u00e8re le Nigeria, l&rsquo;\u00c9thiopie et l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte) ainsi que le pays francophone le plus peupl\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le pays est aussi appel\u00e9 plus simplement <b>Congo<\/b>, ou plus souvent <b>RDC<\/b>, <b>Congo-Kinshasa<\/b> ou <b>RD Congo<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>La RDC est le deuxi\u00e8me plus vaste pays d&rsquo;Afrique apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs centaines d\u2019ethnies forment la population du pays\u00a0; le fran\u00e7ais est la langue officielle et quatre langues bantoues (le lingala, le kikongo, le swahili et le tshiluba) ont le statut de langue nationale.
