D\u00e8s 1988, dans son activit\u00e9 d\u2019adoption d\u2019enfants orphelins, Enfants du Monde a rencontr\u00e9 S\u0153ur Annick Labrousse. Les enfants ne pouvant \u00eatre adopt\u00e9s et qui \u00e9taient abandonn\u00e9s ont alors pu b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de parrainages qui plus tard devinrent les bourses d\u2019\u00e9tudes.<\/p>

S\u0153ur Marie-Annick Labrousse,\u00a0 infirmi\u00e8re originaire de Limoges, religieuse de la Congr\u00e9gation \u00ab\u00a0Les filles de charit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, s’occupe depuis 25 ans du dispensaire Saint-Vincent-de-Paul \u00e0 Tanjombato, banlieue de Antananarivo (Tananarive en fran\u00e7ais), la capitale de Madagascar.\u00a0 Ce centre sert 1240 repas par jour aux enfants les plus pauvres du quartier (entre 4 et 16 ans), ainsi qu’aux personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es ou handicap\u00e9es. Il abrite \u00e9galement une \u00e9cole, de la maternelle aux classes professionnelles, une cr\u00e8che et un centre de sant\u00e9. C\u2019est au niveau des enfants abandonn\u00e9s et de leur scolarit\u00e9 que nous agissons.<\/p>

Distribution de repas<\/h3>

1240 enfants viennent chaque jour manger au centre. Ils ont de 4 ans \u00e0 16 ans.
Les gar\u00e7ons de l\u2019atelier de menuiserie viennent aussi manger au centre car ils viennent tous de familles vuln\u00e9rables.<\/p>

Centres d\u2019alphab\u00e9tisation\u00a0<\/h3>

Nous avons deux centres d\u2019alphab\u00e9tisation\u00a0qui ont un effectif de 309 enfants. Ce sont des enfants de la rue qui n\u2019ont pas un niveau suffisamment \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour rentrer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole et qui n\u2019ont pas encore d\u2019acte de naissance.
Une fois qu\u2019ils auront le niveau acquis et que les papiers seront en r\u00e8gle, les enfants seront transf\u00e9r\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole de l\u2019\u00c9tat, ou \u00e0 l\u2019Ecole Priv\u00e9e, si nous avons de l\u2019aide pour payer leur scolarisation.<\/p>

Formation professionnelle<\/h3>

Nous avons :<\/p>

1. Un ATELIER DE MENUISERIE
C\u2019est un atelier d\u2019apprentissage pour les gar\u00e7ons o\u00f9 71 jeunes gar\u00e7ons re\u00e7oivent une formation professionnelle pendant 3 ans de menuiserie. \u00c0 la fin de leur formation, l\u2019\u00e9cole offre des outils et une attestation pour pouvoir d\u00e9j\u00e0 gagner leur vie. Ils fabriquent des tables, des chaises, des tabourets, etc.<\/p>

2. UN COURS DE PROMOTION F\u00c9MININE
C\u2019est une formation pour les filles venant de familles n\u00e9cessiteuses qui ont le niveau C.E.P.E.\u00a0 Apr\u00e8s les trois ans de formation, les jeunes filles passent un examen, et si elles r\u00e9ussissent, elles ont un dipl\u00f4me agr\u00e9\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00c9tat.
Elles sont au nombre de 64 filles reparties en 3 classes.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

La cr\u00e8che et garderie<\/h3>

Elle accueille en priorit\u00e9\u00a0 les b\u00e9b\u00e9s et jeunes enfants de 4 mois \u00e0 3 ans des mamans journali\u00e8res\u00a0 qui portent des briques, qui sont laveuses au canal et qui n\u2019ont aucun moyen de faire garder\u00a0 leurs b\u00e9b\u00e9s aussi gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette cr\u00e8che elles peuvent chercher du travail sans soucis pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de leurs b\u00e9b\u00e9s ; elles\u00a0 accompagnent les b\u00e9b\u00e9s \u00e0 7h du matin et reviennent les chercher vers 15h30 ou 16h.\u00a0 Actuellement, les enfants sont au nombre de 40.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Scolarisation<\/h3>

Il y a 8 classes dont un total de 489 enfants de 3\u00a0 ans \u00e0 6\u00a0 ans.<\/p>

Nous distribuons des fournitures scolaires pour les enfants b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de notre centre venant de l\u2019EPP, de CEG, et de l\u2019\u00e9cole d\u2019Alphab\u00e9tisation\u00a0 \u00e0 chaque\u00a0 rentr\u00e9e scolaire.<\/p>

Le Dispensaire et Hospitalisation<\/h3>

Nous recevons en moyenne 142 malades par semaine au dispensaire en priorit\u00e9 aux enfants avec une participation symbolique de 200 Ar = 5 cents (par malade pour les frais de consultation et pour les m\u00e9dicaments).<\/p>

Nous aidons aussi les familles qui doivent \u00eatre hospitalis\u00e9es en moyennant 34 enfants malades par an, nous \u00e9num\u00e9rons quelques cas d\u2019op\u00e9rations que nous avons pris en charge : bec des li\u00e8vres, hernies, n\u00e9o des poumons, malnutrition n\u00e9cessitant\u00a0 une hospitalisation, ost\u00e9omy\u00e9lite chronique.<\/p>
